Tracey Wickens

Tracey advises a broad portfolio of UK corporate clients, ranging from early-stage entrepreneurial ventures and owner-managed businesses (OMBs) to UK subsidiaries of international groups and parent companies of large multinational organisations.

As both a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, Tracey is well positioned to support UK companies at every stage of their lifecycle, from start-up through to growth and maturity. With over 25 years of experience advising UK businesses, she is recognised within the firm as a key technical resource in Audit & Assurance, with expertise spanning a wide range of industries and business activities.

Tracey works closely with her clients to develop and implement growth strategies, alongside tax planning solutions aimed at optimising cost management and profitability. She engages directly with management teams, attending meetings where appropriate to support strategic decision-making, and provides ongoing, responsive advice via phone and email.

In addition, Tracey leads the firm’s forensic services, specialising in business valuations and due diligence. Her experience in this area includes financial reviews and due diligence for acquisitions, valuations for company sales, partial disposals and restructurings, as well as investigations into suspected fraud.

As an active member of the MGI Worldwide network, Tracey regularly collaborates with international member firms, including travelling to global offices to strengthen relationships. This enables her to deliver seamless cross-border support and add value to clients with international operations or trading requirements.

Outside of work, Tracey is a qualified rugby referee (now retired from officiating). She maintains her fitness through playing netball and is a committed, if aspirational, regular at the gym.
